This Privacy Policy explains how UV Magik ("we", "us") handles information across our website (uvmagik.com) and our apps, including SafeSonic and SootheSonic. UV Magik is a trading name of Wavefarm Productions, Ireland.
Our apps are designed to work with as little personal data as possible. SafeSonic processes microphone audio on your device to estimate sound levels — audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted. SootheSonic plays soundscapes locally on your device.
If you sign up for updates, we collect the email address you provide so we can email you about UV Magik apps. If you contact us, we receive the information you send. We may collect basic, anonymised usage and crash analytics to improve the apps.
SafeSonic uses your device microphone solely to estimate ambient sound pressure in real time. It does not record or save audio, and audio never leaves your device.
If you create a UV Magik account (email and password, managed by Google Firebase Authentication), we store your email address and link your purchases to it so they follow you across devices. Purchase entitlements are managed by RevenueCat. For paying users, app data may sync to your account: in SafeSonic this includes monitoring session summaries (dates, sound levels, durations) and any child profiles you create (a first name or nickname and an age band); in SootheSonic, listening preferences and saved sessions. Child profiles are optional, provided by you, used only to set age-appropriate thresholds, and can be deleted in the app at any time.
You can delete your UV Magik account and the data synced to it at any time. Email hello@uvmagik.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject “Delete my account”, and we will action it within 30 days. Our apps are intended for use by adults (parents and caregivers). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and accounts may only be created by adults.
To provide and improve the apps, respond to you, and — only if you opted in — send product updates. We do not sell your personal information.
If you purchase a subscription or unlock, payment is processed by our payment providers (such as Stripe, Google Play, or the App Store). We do not receive or store your full card details.
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in any email, and you can request deletion of your account and data at any time.
